NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) - A section of a road in New Bern will close tomorrow as crews work to fix a collapsed culvert.

New Bern officials say a part of Trent Road will be closed Monday through Friday to fix a collapsing culvert underneath the roadway on the 3500 block.

Contractor crews will cut the road open, remove the culvert & replace it. Work will begin at 5:30 a.m. Monday and is set to wrap up around 5 p.m. on Friday.

A detour will be set up using Commerce Drive and McCarthy Boulevard.
