JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio. (WSAZ) - Stadium stands full of cheering fans as the Ohio State University marching band takes the field in Jackson County, Ohio for the Apple Festival!

The OSU marching band hasn’t played at the festival since 2001.

“Typically on a Saturday night... a good Saturday here at the festival, we have about 80,000 people,” said the festival president, Chris O’Boyle. " We figured, in 2001 there was quite a bit more, I’d say another 20.”

We checked in with Jackson County Sheriff, Tedd Frazier who said, ”We plan for a maximum of 200 thousand. If it’s less its fine, if it’s more, we’re still covered."

People from all over in attendance at the event to watch the OSU marching band.
