RAWLINS -- The Outlaw cross country team hosted their only home meet of the season on Friday where the boys took first place and the girls took second.

Rawlins had seven girls runners on the course and seven boys runners, with all but three setting either new personal records or season bests.

The girls were second only to Douglas, who took first place with 30 points. Rawlins followed with 46, then Saratoga with 64 and Wyoming Indian with 78. The Outlaw boys came out on top with 33 points. Wyoming Indian took second with 55, Green River took third with 65, Douglas took fourth with 96, Glenrock took fifth with 101 and Wheatland took sixth with 162.

Lauren Linn was the top girls finisher for Rawlins, placing third with a personal-best time of 21 minutes, 35.61 seconds. It was her first run
