AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A local church held a 9/11 rally Sunday as we continue to honor those who responded to the Twin Towers on that fateful day in 2001.

Lakeside Baptist Church in Clearwater invited local first responders to their service to honor them and remember the events of 9/11.

The church says they do this event every year as a thank you to our local heroes who help us in emergencies every day.
