Honolulu firefighters rescued a 65-year-old woman Sunday morning after she became dizzy and unable to continue hiking on the Diamond Head Trail.

HFD received a 911 call at 9:55 a.m. and responded with six units and 17 personnel. Crews reached the trail on foot within minutes and located the woman at 10:15 a.m., where they provided medical care and prepared her for extraction.

Air 1 lifted the hiker from the trail and transported her to a nearby landing zone. She was transferred to Emergency Medical Services at 10:59 a.m.

No injuries were reported among responders.
