WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- West Hartford police are investigating after racist graffiti was found at Northwest Catholic High School on Sunday.
According to officials, the school's outdoor athletic complex was vandalized and did not extend to the rest of the school.
“It is inhumane. We are not dealing with a group of individuals who just knocked over trash cans. What is ugliest here is the intent to hurt our young people, in an environment where they should always feel safe,” Northwest Catholic High School President Michael J. Clark said.
Police are continuing to investigate the situation and ask anyone with information to contact the West Hartford Police Department at 860-523-5203
