NASHUA, N.H. —

It was a solemn show of support in Nashua Sunday night as a crowd gathered to honor those affected by Saturday night's shooting with a candlelight vigil.

A man was shot and killed at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua before 8 p.m. Saturday. He was identified as 59-year-old Robert Steven DeCesare the next morning. Two others suffered gunshot wounds, according to officials, while at least four others suffered non-gunshot wounds.

Several people told News 9 Sunday evening that they never expected something like this could happen in their city, until it did.

"We got the alert that there is a mass shooting going on," said Padmaja Kunapareddy, who lives in a neighborhood near Sky Meadow
