Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Rashan Gary is reaping the benefits from his team trading for All-Pro Micah Parsons.
The 2019 first-round pick out of Michigan recorded two sacks in Sunday’s 13-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns, giving him 4 ½ this season. Gary has now recorded a sack in five straight games, including last year’s playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
With the Packers (2-1) trading for Parsons just before the start of the season, Gary’s game has reached new heights. He’s on pace to shatter his career high of 9 ½ sacks set in 2021.
Green Bay entered Sunday fourth in the NFL with 10 sacks through two games. Parsons, who has 54 sacks in 65 career games, has 1 ½ in 2025 but had drawn the second-highest double-team rate among edge rushers through two games, according to P
