SALISBURY — West Newbury and Salisbury were among towns recently awarded state grants to help combat extreme weather, the Healey-Driscoll administration announced earlier this week.
The Salisbury Coastal Resilience Planning Project is set to receive $304,155, while West Newbury was awarded $426,938 for the development of alternatives to address flooding and erosion along River Road and the bordering Merrimack River shoreline.
