OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Monday is a First Alert 6 Weather Day due to the threat of strong to severe storms after 6pm into the overnight. Large hail and gusty wind are the main threats but a brief tornado is possible early on as the storms develop.

Early on today we do have some fog in the area to watch for as you start the day. That should erode quickly this morning leaving us with sunshine before the clouds start to increase. We’ll warm into the mid 80s this afternoon as the clouds increase. It will be humid as well.

There is the potential for a few spotty showers this afternoon but the main threat for severe weather will be after 6pm. That is the earliest some storms with large hail and some wind gusts would start to develop. That severe threat will continue through the evening as the sto
