TOLEDO, Ohio — Gas prices in Toledo increased last week, according to analysis by GasBuddy.

The average price of a gallon of gas in Toledo was $2.92 as of Sunday, a price that is 21.8 cents higher than the week before. The number is, however, 4.8 cents lower than a month ago, and 16.4 cents lower than a year ago.

The average in Toledo is also lower than the national average, which came in around $3.14 per gallon.

Across the city, gas prices ranged between $2.45 per gallon to $3.39 per gallon, a range of nearly a dollar. Statewide, the range came in at $2.37 to $4.49.

Although the price rose last week, GasBuddy analysts said autumn and winter prices, which are usually lower, are expected to return again in the coming weeks and months.
