SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- A multi-vehicle crash caused delays at the Monitor Merrimac Memorial Bridge Tunnel Monday morning.

According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), all north lanes were closed at the MMMBT as a result of the crash. Traffic backups were approximately 1.25 miles long. All lanes have since reopened.
