LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The sunny, blue skies from about 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Louder Than Life music festival was a stark difference from the rain that came through earlier in the day.
Regardless the weather, people continued to enjoy the festival.
Storms rolled through the area Louder than Life festival area, Sunday morning, pausing festivities . WHAS11 was told people who weren’t inside the event already were asked to wait in their cars or hotels until the weather moved through.
Others in the event were taken to Freedom Hall for shelter. Lori and Ellis Schwartz were some who had to move inside.
"We just sat there and we waited," Schwartz said. "Everybody was trying to do the wave and everything. It was pretty funny.”
