LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The vibrant rhythms of Cuba are alive in Louisville, where a youth dance group is preserving Hispanic culture through music and movement.

At this year’s WorldFest, young dancers from Louisville’s Qué Siga La Tradición energized the crowd with colorful costumes, lively choreography and infectious smiles.

Passing on Culture Through Dance

Founded in 2022 by Selen Wilson and Yosvany Pascual (also known as "Yo-Yo"), Qué Siga La Tradición started with a mission to share Cuban traditions through music and dance. In just a few years, the group has grown to include 55 children from a variety of Hispanic and non-Hispanic backgrounds.
