MORGANTOWN (WV News) — Traffic delays are expected on the northbound lanes of Interstate 79 between mile markers 141 and 146 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly through Wednesday for placement of steel girders on the Tom’s Run Ridge and Goshen Road bridges, according to the West Virginia Department of Transportation.
Traffic will be maintained with rolling roadblocks and assistance from law enforcement. Flaggers will also be present to direct traffic.
Work is scheduled at night to minimize the impact on the traveling public. Motorists should expect delays, plan ahead and allow extra time for their commute.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the work schedule.
