HANCOCK COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — Lane closures are expected on Westbound U.S. 60 in Hancock County.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials say crews will begin corrective work between Kentucky 1957 and Nugent Lane on Monday, September 22nd.
Officials say they will be completing corrective work on construction part of the U.S. 60 widening project.
We're told work will consist of shoulder and median repairs.
Officials say work will require various lane restrictions and closures at work progresses.
Drivers are urged to pay attention to traffic control signage in the area.
KYTC says the project is scheduled to be completed by October 10th.
We're told the work is in addition to corrective work already underway on the eastbound lanes.
The project is scheduled to last through November.
