(FOX40.COM) — The FBI announced on social media on Sunday afternoon the charges against Anibal Hernandez Santana as alleged interference with the communication of a licensed station authorized by the U.S. government.

After Anibal Hernandez Santana was released on post bail on Saturday afternoon, hours later, he was arrested by the FBI on federal charges, according to his attorney, Mark Reichel.

At around 8:30 p.m., Reichel told FOX40 that he was on the phone with Hernandez Santana when his client walked out of his apartment, where FBI agents arrested him on federal charges.

Reichel said he rushed over to stop the FBI from questioning Hernandez Santana.

On Friday afternoon, the Sacramento Police Department confirmed that Hernandez Santana had fired gunshots at ABC’s local news affiliate
