Kosher food pantries around Greater Cleveland, including Bikur Cholim Kosher Pantry, Cleveland Chesed Center and the Cleveland Kosher Food Pantry, will offer increased support and service opportunities to families during the High Holy Days.

Rabbi Alan Joseph, executive director of Bikur Cholim, told the Cleveland Jewish News they are expecting “a really busy holiday” after “coming off a really busy season,” but he is confident Bikur Cholim will be able to help families celebrate the High Holy Days by providing patients with holiday food and sending volunteers to blow the shofar for people who may not be able to go to a temple.
