MADISONVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The vehicle thought to have been involved in a Madisonville pedestrian hit-and-run earlier in the month is headed to Knoxville’s Tennessee Bureau of Investigation crime lab, according to the Madisonville Police Department. It marks the latest update in the investigation into the death of 43-year-old Larylee Holtzclaw.

Police said Holtzclaw died after being hit by a car on Sept. 16 around 11:30 p.m. on Oak Grove Road near Lincoln Drive. Since the crash, police said, officers reviewed surveillance cameras and spoke to people about the crash, leading them to a person of interest.
