WEST FARMINGTON, Ohio - A West Farmington man has pled guilty on Monday to his involvement with an OVI crash with a scooter last year.

According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office, 67-year-old Dale Hudson pled guilty to aggravated vehicular assault, a fourth-degree felony and a misdemeanor OVI charge.

The charges stem from a crash on Ensign Road in West Farmington in December of 2024 when Hudson was passing another vehicle and struck a scooter operated by Timothy Byler.

According to a crash report, Hudson's BAC was 0.113, which is well above the legal limit of 0.08.

No sentencing date has been set for Hudson yet, but prosecutors say his driver's license could be suspended for between two to 10 years.
