It will be a night at the museum starring Sofia Coppola .

The Oscar winning filmmaker and longtime Chanel collaborator and ambassador has been tapped to be the marquee honoree at the Museum of Modern Art’s film benefit in New York on Nov. 12. The fashionable affair is presented by the fashion house. As part of the shine, MoMA will roll out a special exhibition, Sofia Coppola: A Tribute, scheduled for Oct. 30 — Nov. 16.

The program will also cover screenings of all nine of her films in the Roy and Niuta Titus Theaters, a list that includes The Virgin Suicides, Lost in Translation, Marie Antoinette, Somewhere, The Bling Ring, The Beguiled, On the Rocks, Priscilla and the new documentary Marc by Sofia.
