Las Vegas Aces superstar A’ja Wilson has etched her name into the WNBA record books, becoming the first player in league history to win four Most Valuable Player awards.

Wilson, 29, was honored with the 2025 MVP trophy after another dominant season — one that tested her team’s resilience and her own mental focus.

On Friday (Sept. 19), Wilson received the news from WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert, joined by Wilson’s boyfriend , Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo , surprising her during a Las Vegas Aces practice, making the moment even more personal and celebratory.

Wilson earned 51 first-place votes and 657 total points in the final tally, outpacing Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier (534 points, 18 first-place votes).
