CLARKSBURG (WV News) — The Clarksburg Water Board will host an informational meeting Tuesday evening at Duff Street United Methodist Church prior to a vote on a proposed rate increase.

Water Board members will vote on the proposed rate increase — a 9% rate increase for direct customers and a 3% increase for resale customers — during their regular meeting Wednesday.

Tuesday's meeting will also include information on the ongoing lead line replacement and water system improvement projects.

General Manager Jason Myers has said Tuesday's meeting will allow members of the public to provide comments about the increases ahead of Wednesday's vote.
