DENTON COUNTY, Texas — Severe storms across parts of North Texas have caused severe damage and killed one person at an RV park, the RV park manager told WFAA.
The storm also ripped a hole close to 50 feet wide in the roof of a Walmart distribution center, officials say. According to Denton County officials, no injuries were reported at the distribution center, and all employees were sent home.
There was also damage reported to RVs at McClain's Longhorn RV, with one person sent to Denton Presbyterian Hospital with critical injuries.
The manager of the RV park that sustained damage from the storm later confirmed that the person who went to the hospital died.
