Rendering of proposed apartment building by Davis Square Architects.

VietAID has filed plans to replace a single-family home at 190 Bowdoin St. between Dever and Olney streets with a four-story, 33-unit apartment building in which all of the units will be rented to people making no more than 60% of the Boston area median income.

The apartments will mostly be 1- and 2-bedroom units, but with four 3-bedroom units, according to the filing by the non-profit group. Eight of the units would be rented to people making no more than 30% of the Boston area median income - with half set aside specifically for people coming off homelessness. The rest would be split between tenants making either 50% or 60% of that level.

The filing with the Boston Planning Department calls for 12 parking spaces.
