Holyoke, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - The Blessed Sacrament community is coming together to remember their beloved principal. On Sunday, Susan Heavren passed away, according to the school’s pastor, Father Duy Le. There’s still no work on the cause of death.

“Mrs. Heavren was a devoted leader, a woman of faith, and a constant source of care and encouragement for her students, families, and staff. Her love for Catholic education and her dedication to the mission of our schools were evident in everything she did. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who know her.

The school will fly their flag at half-staff this week in her memory. Her cause of death has not yet been determined.
