AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - A woman was shot in the shoulder, and her husband’s car window was shot out, by an Akron road rage suspect on Saturday afternoon, police confirmed.

The Akron Police Department said officers were sent to the 600 block of Moreley Avenue for a shooting at approximately 3:59 p.m. on Sept. 20.

Officers arrived to find a 32-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound in her shoulder, said APD.

APD said the initial investigation revealed the victim and her husband were driving in separate cars heading southbound on South Hawkins Avenue.

The victims reported a woman behind the wheel of a gray Mercedes-Benz was driving recklessly, according to APD.
