Nick DeIuliis, the CEO of CNX Resources Corp., announced he will retire from the helm of the Cecil-based natural gas driller at the end of 2025. He will be replaced by CNX’s current president and CFO, Alan Shepard.
Mr. DeIullis has spent 35 years with CNX and its predecessor Consol Energy. He’s been a firebrand in the oil and gas industry, a fierce defender of fossil fuels and a critic of renewable energy, who telegraphs his views on social media and from CNX’s Positive Energy Hub.
Under his leadership, CNX began to outfit all of its new gas well pads and compressor stations with air monitors, making the information available on its website and to state environmental regulators.
