It’s been years in the making , but Edmonton’s long-anticipated Warehouse Park is still on track to open before the end of this year.

Construction has moved steadily since it began in July 2024 . Work on 106th Street is largely complete, and crews are now focusing on landscaping the park, adding trees, shrubs and other greenery as the park takes shape.

The park will cover about 1.81 hectares, or just over two football fields, stretching west of 106th Street and extending beyond 107th Street between Jasper Avenue and 102nd Avenue.

Replacing five surface parking lots in the downtown core, it has been identified by city officials as a major catalyst project that will encourage redevelopment in the surrounding area.
