Eric Duane Johnson, 49, a former Atlanta Falcons player, has pleaded guilty to multiple charges in a major human trafficking and gang case based in Gwinnett County.
According to Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr , Johnson was involved with the LOTTO Gang, also known as the "Last One To Take Over" or the "30% Gang," which has links to the Crips and Gangster Disciples.
Who was trafficked?
The investigation revealed that members of the gang trafficked four women and one child. Johnson played a direct role by transporting two of the victims and supplying the gang’s leaders with money and firearms.
“All nine defendants who were originally charged in this case have now been convicted,” said Carr, confirming that all original defendants have been convicted.
