Police have released new details about a man who is accused of kidnapping his two kids after an argument with his wife in Newington over the weekend.
Officers responded to a home in Newington on Sunday around 12:10 p.m. after getting a 911 call from a woman.

According to police, the woman told officers she had an argument with her husband, identified as John Lacen-Romero, 36, about marital issues and the argument became physical. Authorities said during the argument, the woman said Lacen-Romero choked her and fled in a vehicle with their kids.
Additional police departments helped Newington police look for the vehicle and it was later found in Stamford. Officers in Stamford stopped the vehicle near Canal Street.
