A man has been arrested in connection to multiple incidents of anti-Semitic vandalism in Fairfield last month, according to police.

Officers said 68-year-old John Kuhn, of Bridgeport, turned himself into police on Thursday.

His arrest stems from an investigation where police said during the month of August, multiple places in Fairfield were defaced with graffiti showing Stars of David with swastika-like tails. The incidents reportedly caused about $3,000 in damages. Similar incidents were also reported in neighboring communities, too.

During the investigation, officers said they identified Kuhn as a suspect. After interviewing him, authorities said it was determined that his actions were motivated by current events
