An investigation is underway after a racial slur was found painted on the property of Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford over the weekend.
Officers were called to the school on Sunday around 4:15 p.m. for a report of property damage to the athletic facilities.

It was reported that there was damage to the track area. According to police, the damage was primarily to the track and soccer nets.
The damage also included a racial slur on the ground in the dirt and a racial slur was also spray painted on the property, investigators said.
