K9 Sailor trained in Electronic Storage Detection, one of only nine such dogs in NC

The Kill Devil Hills Police Department is proud to introduce Electronic Storage Detection (ESD) K9 Sailor, a highly trained black Labrador now serving as a vital resource for Northeast North Carolina.

Sailor is partnered with Detective Peden and assigned to the Kill Devil Hills Police Department Criminal Investigation Division, the North Carolina Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and the North Carolina Eastern Region Human Trafficking Task Force.

Sailor was trained in Indianapolis by Jordan Detection K9, a highly recognized leader in ESD K9 training. He
