Arrests in Wanchese follow domestic dispute

On September 17, 2025, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Deputies from the Dare County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Wanchese area for a domestic dispute.

Upon arrival, it was reported that the individuals had been in a physical altercation and sustained injuries. During the course of the investigation, deputies received consent to search the residence. The search led to the discovery and seizure of an amount of marijuana, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.

Lee H. Brock, M/52, from Wanchese, N.C., was arrested and charged with the following: Felony Possession of Marijuana; Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, or Deliver (PWIMSD) Marijuana; Felony Possession of Cocaine; Felony
