BETTENDORF, Iowa (KWQC) - The Scott County Emergency Communications Center got 911 calls with some reporting gunfire and some reporting fireworks at 8:38 a.m. Monday.

Bettendorf police came to Emerge School at 1330 Spruce Hills Drive after witnesses saw children with fireworks.

Officers searched the area and officials said they found no evidence of gunfire.
