SEDALIA, Mo - The Washington Street Bridge rehabilitation project in Sedalia is set to take its next step.

The Sedalia City Council has approved finalized plans for the project and will open bidding for the project tomorrow.

The project will address the structural condition of the bridge approaches. Work includes repairing or replacing 13 supporting columns, concrete removal and replacement, structural steel fabrication, and surface preparation. Bids will be open until 10 am on Tuesday, October 14th.

Once a contractor is selected, construction will begin by November 10th. The project is anticipated to be completed by March 10th. All work is weather permitting.
