The North Bay Police Service has identified and charged a local man they believe is responsible for multiple incidents of vandalism in the downtown core.

Between April 29 and Sept. 14. police say the accused attended multiple locations in the downtown core of North Bay, spray-painting store fronts, garbage cans, sidewalks, building walls, and doors on at least 13 separate occasions.

“Graffiti and vandalism deface public spaces and create significant costs for local businesses and the City of North Bay. Maintaining a cleaner and safer downtown is essential for everyone’s safety and enjoyment, which includes holding those who damage our community accountable,” according to the North Bay Police Service.
