Grapes at the Gridiron: Ohio Stadium to host wine tasting event in October

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Stadium is hosting a wine tasting event, dubbed “Grapes at the Gridiron,” in October.

The event runs Oct. 24-25 with tickets costing around $100 each .

Guests will test out different wines, paired with appetizers. Some of the pairings include sparkling rosé with prosciutto-wrapped melon as well as a full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon matched with mini beef wellingtons.

Included with the flights is a guided behind-the-scenes tour of Ohio Stadium. Guests will go through the team locker room and field-level vantage points.

At the end, guests will go to the “wine cellar” in the Recruit Room, where they can purchase vintages.
