AUSTIN, Texas — A man who died in a wrong-way crash in North Austin has been identified, police said Monday.
The crash happened on Sept. 18 in the 12200 block of North Interstate 35 . Police said a car was traveling south in the northbound lanes before colliding with an 18-wheeler and another car.
The wrong-way driver, identified as 24-year-old Victor Lamar Evans II, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Austin Police Department (APD). No other injuries were reported.
