ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -The Missouri Department of Transportation is hiring for winter help.

The department said they are looking to fill open full-time maintenance positions and hire emergency maintenance equipment operators to supplement their winter weather response efforts. There are both eight-hour shifts and 12-hour shifts they are looking to fill.

“Treating and maintaining our roadways during winter are critical services that help Missouri travelers get where they need to be as safely as possible,” said MoDOT State Maintenance Director Darin Hamelink. “We are pleased to offer a flexible option and encourage anyone with prior experience who’s looking to supplement their pay this winter or serve their community, to apply.”
