WASHINGTON — The start of the Washington Wizards' season is just around the corner and to generate early hype, the District unveiled their new City Edition uniforms . The new threads are in partnership with Nike and the NBA.

The uniform pays homage to the iconic gold alternate uniforms worn by the Wizards teams from 2006-2009 but with a new configuration from the 2021 Mixtape framework.

“Washington” is written across the chest in the standard Wizards font which is anchored by the silhouette of the Washington Monument. The black stripe outlines the neckline, shoulders, and jersey numbers which delivers a sharp contrast against the gold base.
