A 31-year-old woman has been arrested following a months-long shoplifting spree at stores across Winnipeg.

On Sept. 18, Winnipeg Police arrested Pheanix Keeper after linking her to 19 incidents that took place between January and September of this year. Police say the thefts involved nearly $10,000 in merchandise from retail outlets in multiple parts of the city.

The investigation connected Keeper to thefts ranging in value from just over $50 to more than $1,200. Stores on Kenaston Boulevard, Portage Avenue, Sterling Lyon Parkway, McPhillips Street, Concordia Avenue, St. Mary’s Road, Regent Avenue, and McGillivray Boulevard were among those affected.
