CLEVELAND — A large three-alarm fire spread to multiple industrial buildings in Cleveland's Old Brooklyn neighborhood Monday afternoon, according to the city's fire department.
The Cleveland Division of Fire posted images on social media showing black smoke billowing out of the buildings on Bradley Road, east of Jennings Road.
Just before 1 p.m., the fire department said additional engines were being dispatched to extinguish the flames.
The fire was called under control just before 3 p.m. after more than 80 firefighters from 30 units including 17 companies worked for more than two hours.
All employees made it out safely, with no injuries reported. A firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion.
Officials estimate the value of the damage at approximately $2 million.
