Whether it’s a waitress, a waiter, a clerk, an employee, a secretary, your children, or your spouse, how you treat those others tells a great deal about you.

One interview tactic in hiring is take the job applicant to a restaurant with you.

See how the applicant interacts with the server. Someone who is rude and demanding in those situations has a character flaw that you don’t want on your team.

“Do to others as you would have them do to you” is the simplest and best character test.
