IRMO, SC (WOLO)– The town of Irmo is set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Irmo Okra Strut this weekend. A big time for the green veggie! The 50th Annual Lexington Medical Center Irmo Okra Strut kicks off at 6pm Friday, September 26, with concerts at Moore Park. Saturday, the annual Okra Strut parade kicks things off at 9am on St Andrews Road, then head to the festival site at Moore Park until 5pm. You can enjoy live music, the Okra Strut Parade and all the okra you can eat! It is free to attend.
