It’s been a headline-worthy week for Crocs , which introduced two experimental new models within the span of 24 hours. Along with teasers of the first new shoe from head of creative innovation Steven Smith, Crocs also formally revealed its new Gallery Shoe.

The part-moccasin, part-sneaker Gallery Shoe riffs on the prevailing sneaker loafer trend , adding a slightly sophisticated edge to the Colorado-based brand’s traditional foam footwear. Its two-eye moccasin-styled upper is constructed in a synthetic suede material with a soft french terry lining.

The Gallery Shoe’s upper is affixed to a Croslite EVA foam sole which wraps up the sidewall, toe and heel. The Croslite base is paired with the brand’s LiteRide footbed, which Crocs describes as having “sink-in softness.”
