Fire officials said that the fire activity is minimal due to higher humidity and light winds, but hotter conditions are expected to increase activity. Crews are actively engaging the fire on all flanks, focusing on clearing fuels and constructing handlines. Water delivery systems will support mop-up operations. On the western flank, the handline is effectively holding the fire.

The Lane County Sheriff's Office has downgraded evacuation notices to Level 1 for areas around Highway 242. Residents are encouraged to stay informed by visiting the evacuation status website.
