LUBBOCK, Texas-- Lubbock ISD released a statement on Monday afternoon regarding a social media post circulating that threatened Estacado High School.

In the statement, LISD stated the following:

"Lubbock ISD is aware of a social media threat that was made to Estacado High School. Lubbock ISD Police are conducting an investigation. At this time, no imminent threat has been identified and as a precaution, there will be an enhanced police presence at our school for the safety of students, staff and families. All students and staff are safe and the school day is continuing as normal. Lubbock ISD has a zero-tolerance policy for any type of weapon on school grounds."
