NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Anglers will be able to fish for free in New Mexico this weekend as part of the state's Free Fishing Weekend.

Anyone can fish for free in public fishing waters throughout the state on Saturday, Sept. 28, and Sunday, Sept. 29, which is also National Hunting and Fishing Day across the United States of America.

The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish said all anglers must observe bag limits and all other rules and regulations. More information on limits can be found here.
